Union World Conference on Lung Health
The Union World Conference on Lung Health is the world's largest gathering of physicians, healthcare providers, policy makers, researchers and advocates committed to ending suffering from lung disease. In 2018, it took place for the 49th time, this year in World Forum The Hague. During the conference, various sessions, workshops and lectures were held for over 1.500 visitors.

The theme of the Union World Conference 'Declaring our rights: Social and Political Solutions', fitted in well with the image of the city of The Hague: city of Peace and Justice. The location of World Forum The Hague in the international zone, where science, law and politics come together, was also perfect.
The theme specifically emphasises the need for health-related sustainable development goals and a coordinated response to public health and to address lung diseases.
