European Biomass Conference & Exhibition 2026

From May 19 to 22, 2026, we welcome you to The Hague one of the leading international events in the field of biomass and bioenergy: EUBCE 2026.

For over 30 years, EUBCE has been bringing together researchers, policymakers, energy companies, and innovators to shape the future of sustainable energy. With over 1.200 participants from more than 55 countries, over 100 scientific and industry sessions, and a fully booked exhibition floor, EUBCE is the meeting point for the global biomass sector.

About EUBCE
The European Biomass Conference & Exhibition was founded in 1980 by the European Commission and grew into an international platform where science, industry, and policy come together. The event covers the entire biomass chain: from research and innovation to market applications, technology, and sustainability.

The scientific programme is coordinated by the European Commission's Joint Research Centre (JRC) and offers insights into, among others, biomass and bioenergy systems, conversion technologies and emission reduction, sustainability and policy, and innovations in biofuels, biomaterials and circularity.

What can you expect?
EUBCE combines science and practice in one place. Think of international experts, the latest innovations, strong keynote sessions, substantive panel discussions, and ample opportunity to network within the sector. Furthermore, it is a place where collaboration between research, industry, and policy takes concrete form. Curious about the full program? Click here.

The entire sector under one roof
From industry and energy companies to researchers, governments, and investors: EUBCE brings together all links of the bioenergy chain. Not as separate presentations, but as one integrated meeting place where collaboration, knowledge sharing, and new initiatives emerge naturally.
