World Forum The Hague and the City of The Hague reopen World Forum after EUR 28 million investment

World Forum The Hague (formerly World Forum) and the City of The Hague will reopen the largest venue for conferences and events in The Hague on 13 December 2017, after years of renovations and an investment of more than EUR 28 million. The event, entitled The Next Chapter, marks a new chapter in the history of the former Nederlands Congresgebouw.

The new 3.500-m² exhibition area and other innovative developments allow World Forum The Hague to host even larger national and international events. The opportunities that will present themselves to The Hague because of World Forum’s new beginning are cause for a celebration, which will take place on 13 December 2017 with over 300 guests from the conference and events sector and the City of The Hague. Mayor Pauline Krikke, Deputy Mayor Karsten Klein, GL events Executive Daniel Chapiro and World Forum The Hague’s General Manager Michiel Middendorf will all be speaking at the event to officially open the renewed World Forum The Hague.

In addition to the reopening ceremony and speeches, the programme includes a book launch by trend watcher Adjiedj Bakas of a unique book in the conference and events sector. This book, which can be found at the National Library of the Netherlands in The Hague, discusses the latest trends and developments in the national and international events sector.

The Next Chapter Event is a collaborative effort by World Forum The Hague and the City of The Hague.
