World Forum The Hague presents a new unique mix of vitality, salty sea air, positive energy and good nutrition

World Forum The Hague is introducing the leading vitality programme for conferences in the Netherlands in May 2018. The aim is to enable conference visitors at World Forum The Hague to continue their healthy lifestyle at a conference or to inspire them to embark on a healthy lifestyle.

Vitality at conferences
What does this programme entail? The aim is to make vitality a central and important part of conferences. Kirsten Vosmer, Commercial Manager: ‘Go up on the green roof and practice yoga in the fresh sea air for half an hour to clear your mind so you can then absorb knowledge more effectively. People today are consciously focussing on health and we facilitate them in continuing or improving a healthy lifestyle through this vitality programme. We actively offer a vitality programme at each conference, which is developed around the other programme segments. The offering includes power walking, yoga and running.’ The activities take place in small groups of participants in order to guarantee high quality. The offering can be extended to include surfing, SUP and bootcamps for real sport enthusiasts. World Forum is located near the sea and consequently gives conference visitors the opportunity to experience sports at the seaside or on the sea. Vitality will also be extended to nutrition through a special lunch designed especially to nourish the body optimally and empower participants to perform at their best during an often intensive conference day. World Forum The Hague is also one of the few venues in the Netherlands to have a fitness club in the building – the Active Club Den Haag.

Vitality as focus point
World Forum The Hague has designated vitality as a focus point within its business operations. More related initiatives will be introduced and communicated in 2018. General Manager Michiel Middendorf: ‘We have proactively begun tackling the topic of vitality both internally and externally. We will become a forerunner in the field of vitality this year. We already, for example, offer our employees mindful massages, bootcamps and yoga. We expect to present more surprising additions in the field of vitality in the near future. It is – literally and metaphorically – in our blood.’

Collaboration
The ‘Vitality at conferences’ innovation is a collaboration between World Forum and Club Mondain (www.clubmondain.com). Club Mondain offers extensive online and offline vitality programmes to frequent travellers and organisations. Club Mondain’s vision is to: Enable everyone to create a space for a healthy lifestyle from anywhere in the world.’ World Forum The Hague and Club Mondain are together rising to the challenge of making conference visitors healthier.

There is also an existing alliance between World Forum and The Hague Marketing. The Hague Marketing is often present at conferences both to provide visitors information about the city and to offer delegates The Hague City Bikes. This is exactly what gives conference visitors greater energy and vitality so they can make a more vitality-filled visit to the conference venue in The Hague.
