Project Manager

Are you that flexible all-rounder who ensures every event is a success and always spots opportunities to exceed our clients’ expectations? Then we are looking for you!

As a Project Manager, you are both creative and organized. You seamlessly manage multiple events, prepare everything down to the finest detail, and adapt easily to changes. Thanks to your ideas, our events leave people talking for weeks.

What You’ll Do

As a Project Manager, you’ll assess your client’s needs, provide advice on event details, and be available to answer questions. You’ll coordinate suppliers and provide instructions to colleagues using a detailed event plan. At the same time, you’ll update layouts and budgets. Together with an enthusiastic team, you’ll ensure every event runs smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Capitalize on creative commercial opportunities;
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for your clients;
  • Record client requests and recommend improvements;
  • Ensure catering, setup, audiovisual equipment, and decorations are flawlessly arranged;
  • Work closely with other departments and suppliers;
  • Advise on social programs and external locations;
  • Create a detailed event script for the operational team;
  • Evaluate events with clients and stakeholders;
  • Monitor the budget closely and provide insights.

Who Are You?

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Project Manager who values service and hospitality as much as we do. You have strong organizational, administrative, and communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to meet deadlines and identify opportunities. You are flexible, stress-resistant, sociable, and available full-time. With a bachelor’s or master’s degree and at least five years of experience in the events or conference industry, you’re perfectly equipped to advise and guide clients. Fluency in Dutch and English is essential.

What We Offer

  • Friendly colleagues, fun company parties, and monthly drinks;
  • Discounts on theater performances (when available);
  • Focus on health and vitality, including fresh fruit and sports options;
  • Opportunities for personal and professional development;
  • An informal, flexible working environment with the possibility of remote work;
  • 30 vacation days and a competitive salary, with the potential for a bonus equivalent to one month’s salary.

Where You’ll Work

At World Forum The Hague, you’ll work in an international environment at a unique location with 12,000 m² of exhibition space and 50 years of event-organizing experience. Since 2009, we’ve been part of GL events, a French company with over 50 venues worldwide. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality, hospitable, and sustainable experiences.
