Dutch ambassadors worldwide were informed about the developments in the Netherlands. The coronavirus and its measurements have a seen great impact on the work of the ambassadors so to keep in contact with one another through digital conferences like these are very important.
This week World Forum was also the home to the Dutch Digital Conference with Mona Keijzer, State Secretary for Economic Affairs and Climate Policy. Both the Ambassadors Conference and the Dutch Digital Conference were online with live streams from the World Forum Studio.
The corona crisis led to a new, digital concept as an addition to live events in World Forum. In 2020 the new Online Participation launched a new way of meeting, suitable for a diverse number of participants via an online event platform. The power of Online Participation is connecting live and online. With the unique World Forum interface within the platform, all attendees experience the same look and feel for the event they are attending as they would do visiting the physical venue itself all be it in an online capacity.
After Online Participation was successfully launched the World Forum Studio soon followed. One of the biggest meeting rooms has been fully transformed into a professional, atmospheric and fully equipped turn-key studio with the added benefit to match the style and setting according to the wishes and needs of each client. The many years of experience within the field of Safety and Security is also a very important advantage to online events where safety has to be guaranteed online and onsite.
Over the last couple of months, many digital conferences (hosted by the Dutch Government) have taken place at World Forum The Hague, such as the Youth at Heart Virtual Forum, World Press Freedom Conference and recently the Climate Adaptation Summit 2021.
The studio is perfect for Livestream events but equally this space is the perfect setting and platform for professional tv productions. An online conference needs a very different approach to live events that is why World Forum works with many creative and experienced professionals.
