Exactly 49 years ago, at March 14 1969, the 'Nederlands Congresgebouw' was opened in the presence of Prince Bernhard. We are going to celebrate our 50 years anniversary for one year. March 2019 is going to be a special month!
Partnership between De Koekfabriek and World Forum The Hague is first step towards opening an establishment in The Hague
De Koekfabriek and World Forum The Hague have entered into a partnership. The bakery will be supplying all cookies and biscuits sold by World Forum The Hague. In addition to being fresh and delicious, the baked goods supplied by De Koekfabriek also have a social component, as they are produced by disadvantaged job seekers.
A year-round annual programme Seaside Celebration kicks off on 1 January 2018 with the Unox New Year Dive and ends on 31 December 2018 with Bonfires. Major attractions include the Volvo Ocean Race, the International Fireworks Festival and also the Sand Sculpting World Championships, held in The Hague.

Since 1981 The Hague International Model United Nations Foundation (THIMUN) has organised an annual simulation of the United Nations for high school students around the world. It has become a unique educational experience of the highest quality, attended by more than 3,500 participants. Every January THIMUN always holds its annual conference at World Forum The Hague.

Meeting Professionals International (MPI) and MPI The Netherlands Chapter announced plans to collaborate on next year’s European Meetings and Events Conference (EMEC). The announcement was made on stage during the closing plenary session of SITE + MPI Global Forum in Rome today, 14 January 2018.

World Forum The Hague and the City of The Hague reopen World Forum after EUR 28 million investment
World Forum The Hague (formerly World Forum) and the City of The Hague will reopen the largest venue for conferences and events in The Hague on 13 December 2017, after years of renovations and an investment of more than EUR 28 million. The event, entitled The Next Chapter, marks a new chapter in the history of the former Nederlands Congresgebouw.
