New @ World Forum
The World Forum will be opening a new multifunctional space under the current awning in early 2016. This will give the World Forum a much more stylish and distinctive entrance. The new space will also offer a range of catering possibilities and will be used primarily for exhibitions. The area itself is 2,500 m2 and the venue provides a total of 10,000 m2 of exhibition space. The World Forum also has a second entrance in addition to this refurbished one. The World Forum can consequently host multiple events at once.
The development of this new space is part of the total of 25 million euros the City of The Hague is investing in the building as the owner of the World Forum. In addition to the expansion of the conference rooms as a result of this new space, investments are also being made in the look and feel of the building and the climate control.
This multifunctional space can be used during conferences for multiple purposes including:
- 2,500 m2 exhibition space (10,000 m2 in total)
- catering spaces
- 3 break-out rooms
