Carmina Burana

World Forum in The Hague is one of five venues in the Netherlands where Carl Orff’s masterpiece Carmina Burana – a unique work in musical history featuring the celebrated poem O Fortuna – will be exclusively performed.The pièce de résistance will be performed by The New Romanian Symphony Choir & The International Symphony Orchestra featuring soloists, led by conductor Raymond Janssen. The 135-strong company comprises the orchestra of the highly gifted and passionate musicians of INO from Lviv in Western Ukraine, and the choir of the Staatsphilharmonie Banatul from Timișoara, Romania, who are known for their unparalleled, pure sounds.They are accompanied by internationally renowned soloists. The mystical and musical allure of the Carmina Burana continues to entice music lovers of all ages and nationalities centuries after it was composed.
